Scott Kaplan

Scott Kaplan is a Research Assistant in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at UC Berkeley. He completed his undergraduate degree in Environmental Economics and Policy and Environmental Sciences at UC Berkeley in 2014, and is beginning his PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics in August, 2015. Scott has worked on the economics of biofuel, genetically modified crops, smallholder farmer productivity, land use, and climate change. He has published in journals including Agricultural Economics, Agriculture, and the Journal of International Affairs, as well as several book chapters and other popular media.
