Eric Lehmer has over 20 years of experience in the GIS field with expert knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, MS SQL Server, PosgreSQL and Windows and Linux Systems Administration. Currently he focuses on Python, Django, Leaflet, Javascript, and D3. Before joining the GIF, Eric worked at the Information Center for the Environment at the University of California, Davis. His experience there included working on a variety of environmental websites, GIS desktop decision support systems, internet mapping systems, and land use models. 

Eric is a Berkeley native and attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he received a B.A. in Geology. Following his education at UC Berkeley, he worked for the United States Geological Survey and the Southern California Earthquake Center.
