Alex Belyakov

Alexander Belyakov, Ph.D, SEP, is a 2001 ELP alumnus. He enjoys being a thought leader. Named as a Sustainability Excellence Professional by the International Society of Sustainability Professionals and Green Business Certification Inc., he is a results-oriented expert with 20+ years of experience working with international and public sector organizations.

Alexander’s work includes consultancies for the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, the International Tax and Development Cooperation Branch of the Financing for Sustainable Development Office, New York; the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the Subregional Office for Central Asia in Ankara, Turkey; the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (the United Nations Environment Programme) in Montreal, Canada; the United Nations Development Programme in Kyiv, Ukraine.
