Climate Change and Agriculture

November 18 - November 19, 2013

This customized program was a two-day, intensive, interactive course in climate change and agriculture from November 18 through November 19, 2013, which hosted a delegation from the Agricultural Training Institute of the Department of Agriculture of the Philippines.

The course, taught by distinguished faculty and specialists from the University of California, illustrated interdisciplinary knowledge and analysis of climate change and its impact on global agriculture as well as innovative policies, technologies, and institutions that promote sustainable livelihoods and environments.

In addition to classroom learning, participants visited local agricultural facilities that incorporated the latest knowledge and techniques in sustainable agricultural practices.
